Briar Hardy-Hesson is a Wānaka-based jeweller and multidisciplinary New Zealand artist. From her cottage in Queensberry, she creates bold, jewellery and art inspired by pattern, colour and the fantastical.

Her work is playful, vibrant, and a little bit whimsical. Largely self-taught, Briar works across jewellery, sculpture, painting, and design.

Based in Wānaka for over 20 years, she has strong roots in Central Otago. Her contemporary jewellery is stocked in selected stores across New Zealand.
